Update

A Long Awaited Hunting Trip!
James has been asking Granpa to take him bird hunting for months! Last week his wish came true. My Dad took him to a bird range, where you pay to have birds released to hunt. They took Gus, my Dad's bird dog. James was full of stories when he got hom. These pics are pre-hunt! He's even holding his imaginary gun! What a stud.
Next I went on a girls trip to Vegas with Brandy, Meahgahn and Jaquoia to see Phantom of the Opera. We had a little too much fun! PS the picture of me upside down is my attempt at break dancing, I am completely awesome at it ;)!
I got this rose from the YW on Leader makeover night. Ragan was in LOVE when she saw it. She carried around like a toy for days, until it fell apart! She was so sad when it died.
What do we do on a rainy day
When Dal is sleepin' and James is away?
We do our make up and play lots of games...

Create window art...
And take pictures!

Okay this ones my favorite. We did a family night lesson on repentance and took our kids through a car wash! We got some pretty funny faces out of it, and a good lesson on how we become clean! It was way fun, they loved it.

A Digital Kit by ME!!!!!

So...I've been messing with this digital stuff for a long time now, and I was inpired by my "mentor" Cheri Robinson who I just started doing layouts for to design my own kit. This is my first attempt at designing. Give me feedback, let me know what you think! You can even download for free here, if you are into the scrapbooking thing!

A BIG WEEK!

We had an eventful week at the Julander house this week! Dallin's Birthday was on sunday! He turned two! I can't believe he's that old. He still seems like a baby to me. Probably because I don't have another baby to make him seem grown up. It's kinda weird! He's such a fun kid. He is starting to repeat everything we say in his little gibberish way. He is so animated and has the best faces ever. He keeps us on our toes. He and James are best buddies and play swords and guns all day. Dal is such a good sport. He takes a lot from his older siblings, but he can dish it out just as well. He's a tough kid and I love that. He is also so sweet. His hugs and kisses melt my heart! His dimply grin has the same effect. I just love my kiddos.
They make me so happy and proud!

Next my sweet James started kindergarten! Oh...I feel so old! I'm not a cryer and neither is he. We both started the day excited and happy. It was so fun to see how eager he was. He loves his new teacher. In fact I think he might have a little crush! :) He seems to enjoy school and the long days have yet to be a problem (all day kindergarten). I think he is definitely worn out when he gets home, but always excited to talk about what went on at school! It's kinda weird only seeing him a few hours a day. I think Dal and Ragan miss him too. Dal asks "Mames?" and Ragan seems a little lost as to what to do and play with just Dal around. She's used to Brooke and James being around to play with. (Brooke, the little girl I have babysat for three years, started school too).

Finally, on Wednesday, Ragan started school too. Preschool that is. I decided to send her this year as well as next. For one because it saves me a spot at Little Wonders Preschool which we loved for James. Two she is a social bug. She loves the time with other kids and she loves to learn too. I think it will be really good for her. Three it gives me some alone time with Dal twice a week. I think that will be strange (to only have one kid home) but good for me and Dal and Pete. Mondays I'll get time with Dal, and Wednesdays (when I work) Pete will get time with him. We're all excited for these new transitions. The structured mornings have made it a whole lot easier for me to get my workout in too! I already have to get up and out the door by eight thirty, so it makes sense to just go straight to the gym! It's great. I love structure and schedules. I know I'm weird! But we're all happy!

These pics, I just couldn't pass up posting. My little super heroes! Ragan cracks me up! James is showing off his Star Wars moves!

And last but not least another POLL! I am entering a contest to win a Team spot for goDigital Scrapbooking. I made two layouts with their kits. I need a vote on which I should enter! I so can't make a decision by myself, pathetic I know! HELP ME OUT! I actually don't love the kit. It's a little too frilly for me, but I have to use what they supply!
