New Moon

I couldn't fail to mention our yearly "twighlight" girl's night. I know we're big dorks with our matching t-shirts, but it sure is fun! We went to new moon in a specially rented theatre for opening night. The movie started at 8pm but we were there at 4pm. Needless to say we were first in line. We even had time for dinner before starting the line. They wouldn't put us in an official line until 6pm so we made our own! Sign and all. Then we waited and waited...and waited. It was worth the wait. Before the movie started the group that rented the theatre, I think it was a hospital or something, had raffle. I won a gift certificate to a restaraunt in bountiful! We had a lot of fun. All girls nights are fun, especially with these girls!

More Catch Up!

Ragan discovered a love for oranges...or maybe just orange smiles! She cracks herself up!

Let's play catch up!

First (I know pathetic I have to go this far back) fall cleanup! I love this beautiful tree...I hate it's leaves in the fall! We have an even larger tree in the back yard! Ughh. (the bags in the picture are the front yard only, and there are still alot of leaves on the tree!) But even if I hate the cleanup, the cute pictures of my kiddos are worth it. They look forward to leaf cleanup.

This one's for you Dad!

I promised my dad this post a month or two ago! Sorry Dad, blogging and pregnancy haven't mixed so well lately! But as promised here are your beautiful shelves put to good use.
Pete and my Daddy build these shelves for my garage so I could be sane, organized and finally put my car in the garage and not have to scrape windows in my hurry to get James to school every morning! Yeah!
They took pictures every step of the way, and I finally took the "put to good use" pictures ... so ... drum roll please!

I just have to say...organization feels so good! Thanks Daddy and Pete.

Daddy Craft!

Ragan asked me the other day to help her make a Christmas craft. I wasn't feeling too creative, so I was looking online for some ideas. Pete was home and said, "Why don't you just make a Christmas Tree?" he proceeded to tell me an easy way to do it. It went right over my head because I saw an opportunity to give Daddy a chance to be crafty! So he took over the craft for the day and helped Ragan make this! Purely designed by Pete ornaments and all! I am so proud of my crafty hubby! I must have rubbed off! :) Ragan was thrilled and ended up making them again with her friend Reese when she came to play yesterday!

We had a lot of fun this year for Halloween. It's my favorite Holiday! Sadly I didn't get any pics of my costume. I wore it for the Young Women Halloween Party. I was a whoopie cushion! So funny! Anyway here are some pics of pumpkin carving and trick or treating.

I promised James that we would make a pumpkin pie from real pumpkin. Ragan got a sugar pumpkin from our friend Maria and I convinced her to use it for the pie. We got her a bigger pumpkin to carve, so she was happy! So we made from scratch homemade pumpkin pie! Here's the process! The kids loved it.
