Ragan started kindergarten. I am officially old! Two kids in school, holy cow time flies!

James is a big second grader.

Last summer hurrah with cousins. The girls came here and the boys went to Holly's. Poor Holly!

Mayci found a new love for the sandbox

We started physical therapy for Mayci. She didn't crawl until after she turned one, but she made fast progress as soon as she started therapy. She crawled within the first two weeks and is now working her way to walking.

The 5th of August we had a baby shower for Kat. She was so ready to be done with pregnancy! I feel ya Kat, that's why I'm done :) I didn't forget this time!

Sweet baby Cameron joined our crew on August 29th, the day before Dal's bday. He is adorable! He happens to look a whole lot like my babies! Way to go Dan and Kat!

JULY

These pics are all out of order chronologically, but I'm tired of moving pics around so here goes.

We love having Sarah and Pedro and Chloe home. It's so good to spend time with them. We went to the fireworks at Davis High this year for the 4th and Sarah was a trooper and joined Ragan in the face painting!

We gave Mayci her first piggy tails! TOO cute. I love baby piggies. But it made her look way too grown up! I don't want her to grow up!

Ragan lost her first tooth on July 23rd.

And James finally mastered his bike riding skills!

My sweet baby turned one and we had lots of family join us to celebrate.

She was a little hesitant about cake diving but with a little help from siblings and cousins she decided it was well worth the dive!

June

JUNE

In June we started swimming lessons and went through until August. Carlos was a fabulous swim teacher that I would recommend to everyone, my kids improved leaps and bounds. I always assumed I'd teach my kids how to swim having been a swim teacher for a couple of years and having taught many adults to swim more technically. But no surprise, my kids don't like learning from me, it's ends up more clinging and crying and fighting and frustrating mom! So we went to swim lessons at the Marshall White Center in downtown Ogden. And we only paid $40 dollars per session for all three kids! Score!

Carlos had the kids practice blowing bubbles through a straw in the tub at home. They loved it.

Not only does the Marshall White Center have fabulous swim lessons, they also have a free summber program for kids. They can take all kinds of classes absolutely free. My kids did basketball, soccer and tumbling. They also offer Karate and Boxing and tons more. Just a little plug for them, cause I think it's fantastic. James and Ragan both loved the soccer class.

After mother's day and father's day my Ragan told me that she thought that there should be a kid's day too cause they are special too! So we dubbed June 21st the first day of Summer, kid's day. We bought some summer time toys (since we have winter bdays around here) and had a day all about kids. Here are some of the fun things we did:

And last but not least, not one, but two nights camping in the backyard in a tent. (they talked us into a second night...I didn't join them, I like my bed and so does Mayci!)

This is my favorite picture this month...who doesn't love a toothless smile!

Granny Lange turned the big 80! We celebrated with all the fam. I made her cake which was really one of my first draped fondant cakes and it was a disaster, it cracked and sagged and fell apart, but the cali-lillies were gorgeous! And luckily I redeemed myself with beautiful cupcakes which my friend Ashley and I slaved over for hours! They were delish and beautiful.
