Yes, again we are terrible parents. You'd think we'd learn the first time right. We meant to put up the rail then, but you know how these things get put off. So when he fell off last night again for the second time in a matter of weeks, I told Pete, there will be a rail on that bed tomorrow, even if it's a two by four...and guess what...it is a two by four. Don't worry we have plans to paint the bed next week. Hopefully it happens!!!

Hey Em! He looks so sad!! Thanks for commenting! Your kids are so big!! I can not believe you are having your fourth!! That is so fun! I want to learn how to digital scrap book. Could you come to my house sometime and teach me?? You are wonderful!
OOOWWWW, Dally Bob. That made me cry, man! The rail looks good! Hang in there buddy...we love you.
Aw...poor little guy. :( I'm surprised he still wants to sleep up there! What a brave dude. ;)
That picture is so sad, poor little guy. Don't feel too bad, at least you haven't had to make a trip to the hospital.
poor little guy! Funny thing is, when I was a kid, my dad made a bed, then it became a bunkbed when they needed more room....and what did he use as a railing? Yep, a two-by-four. Yours looks much safer though. Ours didn't cover the whole side and had some contraption on hinges that raised and lowered it. It pinched our fingers all the time.
